Fly

Middlebury, Vermont is approximately a three and a half hour drive from Boston. The largest airport in New England is Boston Logan (BOS). Additional regional airports and their estimated driving time from Middlebury can be found below.

Plattsburgh (PBG) 1.5 hrs

Manchester (MHT) 2.5 hrs

Boston (BOS) 3.25 hrs

Drive

Google maps will take you where you need to go. Given some spotty reception along the way, please be sure to download your map. Middlebury, Vermont is approximately a three and a half hour drive from Boston. The fastest drive is to take Interstate 93 from Boston to Interstate 89 in New Hampshire, then take Exit 3 onto Route 107 in Vermont. In Bethel, VT you will turn onto Route 12 and in Rochester, VT you will turn onto Route 100 toward Hancock, VT (Rochester Cafe and Sandy's Books and Bakery are great spots for a bite or stretch in Rochester). In Hancock, you will turn onto Route 125 towards Ripton (another great stop is the Ripton Country Store). Route 125 will end at Route 7/Ethan Allen Highway, continue towards Middlebury.
